Feels like winter holidays are just around the corner, but we still have the strength to work hard in the passing year. On December 6th we organised an exclusive training on LUK clutch systems in Riga held by Schaeffler Group representatives Reinis Norītis and Tomi Lumivirta (Finland).

They started with a small insight into the company, its manufacturing abilities and achievements and continued with the technical part, which explained LUK clutch and dual mass flywheel design features, functioning and fault diagnostics as well as instructions for their mounting with special instruments.

The training was designed for auto mechanics and also included a practical part. Working in groups, the participants successfully replaced a self-adjusting clutch (VW gearbox), dry double clutch (Ford gearbox) and accomplished dual mass flywheel removal and installation, as well as its freeplay and vibration measurement. At the end of the training the participants received certificates.
